After graduating high school I lived in Japan for two years teaching Bible-based English lessons as a part of the AIM program. Trained as a pastry chef, after which I went to work as a dental assistant. My husband and I just celebrated our ninth anniversary and we have two beautiful daughters with whom I stay home.
Just divided the body and sleeve sections. It looks a touch small but I tried it on and it seems okay; I think that if it does turn out a tiny bit small I can probably block it bigger.
I am, as ever, in awe of your knitting skills. It looks great so far!
wv: aninead-- A key word in your teen's vocabulary. "Aninead some money for gas, aninead a new pair of jeans, aninead a snack... Mom? Where are you going? Aninead the car tomorrow night!"
So, now I have a (non-knitting) question, and you are the most likely candidate to have the correct answer. How do I make my cookies soft, instead of crispy? Should I shorten the cooking time a bit, or is there something else I should be doing?

It's gorgeous! I can't wait to see the finished product! What an amazing, gifted daughter I have!
