- After graduating high school I lived in Japan for two years teaching Bible-based English lessons as a part of the AIM program. Trained as a pastry chef, after which I went to work as a dental assistant. My husband and I just celebrated our ninth anniversary and we have two beautiful daughters with whom I stay home.

Thank you so much Beth for drawing out my name as the winner of that beautiful blue sock yarn. I have emailed my address to you so let me know that you have received it, as sometimes my email does not send it off for some reason. I cant wait to see how nice it feels too, and what socks I can make out of it.
I imagine that more than four people read your blog--I am #5--but you have been out of commission for so long that some people probably gave up looking for new postings. They'll be back, I'm certain.
